Creativity for Well-being in the New Forest, Hampshire. Nurturing the need for self expression; inside and out.

I offer a creative, social and therapeutic Art Psychotherapy space to groups and individuals both in a studio setting and outdoors in nature.

Sessions focus on art making as a process rather than a result and allow time for personal reflection and emotional exploration. I have a BA in Fine Art from University of Ulster and trained as an Art Psychotherapist gaining a 1st in MA Art Therapy in 2010. I have worked in a variety of settings in Ireland and the UK and is HCPC (Health Care Professions Council) and BAAT (British Association of Art Therapists) registered. I have an enhanced DBS check.

I offer a form of walking and talking therapy called Ecotherapy. Working therapeutically in nature has many positive benefits for your mental health. Research has shown that spending time outdoors can decrease our levels of stress and anxiety and fosters a greater connection and re-connection to ourselves and the natural world.

I am a Shinrin Yoku (or Forest Bathing) practitioner and more information on walks  and booking can be found in the website.

Making my own artwork is an important part of my own process. My intention is to connect to nature and to respond to the feelings and emotions that this evokes. By cultivating my own nature connection art making has informed a deeper understanding of the healing ability of nature and the wild spaces. My artwork and photography can be viewed  here, please message me if you are interested in any of the works.

I also offer:

Art groups for children and adults.

Corporate training days.
